A private transfer removes the one part of a Morocco trip that reliably goes wrong: the arrival. You land after a long flight, the taxi rank negotiates in a language you do not speak, and your riad is somewhere inside a medina no car can enter. We meet you in the arrivals hall with your name on a board, drive you to the nearest gate, and walk you the rest of the way.
We are a Marrakech-based agency, and transfers are arranged the same way our tours are: a fixed price agreed in advance, a vehicle sized to your group and luggage, and a driver who works for us rather than whoever is next in the queue.
Where the train does not go, or where you would rather not change twice with luggage. Common routes: Marrakech to Essaouira (2 h 45), Marrakech to Agadir (3 h 30), Marrakech to Ouarzazate (4 h 30), Fes to Chefchaouen (3 h 30), Tangier to Chefchaouen (2 h), and Casablanca to Marrakech (3 h). On the routes the train serves well — Casablanca to Marrakech, Casablanca to Fes — we will tell you so, because a first-class train seat is cheaper and just as comfortable.
Send us your flight numbers, arrival and departure dates, how many of you there are and how much luggage, and where you are staying. We come back with a fixed quote, usually within a few hours. Transfers can be booked on their own or added to any tour.
You can, and for a short hop in daylight it is fine. Two things make a pre-booked transfer worth it: airport taxis work to a fixed higher tariff that is negotiated rather than metered, and no taxi driver will walk you through a medina to your riad door. For a late arrival, with children, or with more luggage than a sedan holds, the difference is the whole evening.
We will say which is better for your route rather than sell you the more expensive one. The train between Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Fes and Marrakech is comfortable, punctual and inexpensive, and we recommend it on those legs. A private driver earns its cost where the journey is the sightseeing — the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the Dades and Todra gorges, the road to Merzouga — because a train and a coach do not stop at Ait Ben Haddou.
